Panayiotis “Pete” Marselis brings 16 years of experience in bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and litigation to the firm. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan; and also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.
Panayiotis earned his B.A. from Wayne State University, 1999 and his Juris Doctorate from the University, of Detroit Mercy School of Law, including an international law program in Athens, Greece through Temple Law University Beasley School of Law, 2003.
Panayiotis also served on the Board for the Hellenic Bar of Michigan and was a Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2013-2017. Pete’s vigorous creditor representation includes mortgage creditors, finance companies, auto lenders and others, with a specialty in bankruptcy.
Pete is married to Sarah and they are the parents of two children, Anastasia and Dimitrios. Pete is also active in his Greek Heritage and travels frequently to Greece to visit his family home in Patras, Greece.
